Subject: Actually, I think the part Jane quoted above from Chapter 26 of BOTB answers that question. No matter how much either of them may have desired the other, they can't acknowledge their feelings. Unless we find out otherwise in SCOTTISH PRISONER, I think we have to leave it at that. A close friendship, to be sure, but not a sexual relationship.
