Subject: It struck me as odd that Jamie was so anti-gay in this book, compared to, say, how he was in Outlander when talking about Sandringham's attempts to woo him. All I can figure is that it's some degree of PTSD due to Randall, and perhaps John does a good job in helping Jamie in learning that it was a particular bad man, not all gay men in general, who was the problem.
