Subject: Pamelalass, I think that what makes their relationship so intriguing is that they are both so wonderful! I have previously posted that I find Jamie and John to be amazingly similar in personality, motivation, and action. It's no wonder that they become such good friends. I think that it will be so great if we are given more details about the evolution of their true friendship, which, of course, truly starts in Ardsmuir.
In reply to: pamelalass 's message, "Great quote, teddie! It reminded me that Jamie would have been completely hostile to John the entire time between the "pass" at Ardsmuir, to these months at Helwater covered in BOTB, since John's mental image is described this way. When I first read BOTB, I was coming at it from the perspective of later days at Helwater, when they talk about Willie's future, etc., so I was taken aback by the hostility, but this small moment reveals that at this point in the timeline there's no reason for either to believe that things will ever be otherwise. >>>>" on 09:51:07 11/06/07 Tue
