Subject: I didn't love Private Matter so much at first either. I did have to re-read it to get everyone straight. I did end up buying the audio version (got it brand new from Half Price books for $11.00 a couple of years ago!) I liked it much MUCH better after listening to it. We have to remember too that herself wrote it as a short story and it got a little away from her becoming too complex and long enough to be a stand alone book.
In reply to: Karen 's message, "I have never managed to get into PRIVATE MATTER, despite repeated attempts. I thought BOTB was a much, much better book. More thoughts about PRIVATE MATTER, inside >>>>" on 07:19:59 11/02/07 Fri
