Subject: Exactly what I've been writing about in this entire thread - except that you put it more succinctly. I feel that Claire is being "pushed" into the background of the main books and no long the main character along with Jamie. Yes, a "less intimate" book. We'll just have to wait and see.
In reply to: sharon fisher 's message, "Actually, one of the things that bothered me about ABOSAA was that it felt like Claire was no longer a central character -- stuff *happened* to her, sure, but less of the story seemed to be told from her POV and there was more about her actions and less about her thoughts. It struck me as being a less intimate book. " on 08:44:47 09/10/07 Mon
