negative (what i take it to be) stuff about the books. they are all excellent in their own right. i remember reading awhile ago that dg said she wanted to write a story about a 50 year marriage or something like that (can't remember the exact wording) and so that is exactly what she's done/is doing. at the beginning of any relationship it's all about you and the other person and that is a heavy focus. in fact sometimes the 2 involved don't even notice others around them. but then as time goes on other things around you become more a part of you. i'm probably not wording this very well but i think in all the books dg chooses what to tell us and has her reasons for doing so.
