Subject: Sorry this is so long, I am PISSED.

I HATE I HATE I HATE I HATE bad customer service. I HATE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I, against my better judgement, went to the mall. And purchased a 50$ pair of sunglasses. It was late, and they were about to close, so we skeedadled out of there, I, without looking at said sunglasses. I come home, and there is a GINORMOUS, deep as shit scratch down one lense. I take it back the next day, with receipt, no problem. The girl was very rude to me, not apologizing or even offering any sort of conversation while I stood for ten minutes waiting for her. I get them home, in a rush to get to work. Lo and behold, pair #2-crooked and loose. I try and try to tighten the screws, but the glasses have been poorly made, and the screw is in wrong so I can't. I send boyfriend up to the store for pair #3, not even wanting my money back because A) I know they would refuse and B)These are kick ass sunglasses. He talks to the manager who tell him even though he has a receipt from 2 days ago, she WILL NOT give him a new pair because they have no tags. I had been given them with NO TAGS. She also said to my boyfriend "are you sure she didn't just sit on them?", which kind of offends me. Now, when I called she said "oh, I talked to that guy, and I didn't say a single thing about tags." She was so fucking snarky, and I was being so polite. THEN proceeded to tell me that the glasses are not broken, that's just the way they are, and I said "No, one side is loose and the other is not." Okay, now here is the important part, for those of you still with me, she says to me "Oh, well. They're all kind of like that." ...................Didn't you just accuse me of sitting on them? And, why would you be selling a shitty product for 50 dollars? It continues on, to the point where she hasn't offered to let me speak to the store manager, and insists that I should come to the store, which is quite a ways from my house, and I am working all day. I ask if the manager will be up there tomorrow, to which she says, "I can't tell you that. It's not allowed."

I am just...speechless. Still. I tried the customer service number from the website, no dice. I can't imagine treating people like that at my work.
