So do you want to hear a story about how my father left my brother and I alone in a park for several hours in the middle of a colorado winter while he went off to fuck his girlfriend, or would you rather something more about how my mother used to make my brother do a sniff test before we went into K-Mart to make sure I hadn't shat my pants?

Trust me, you don't want to know too much about my childhood. It is well and truly a fucked-up place.

The only consolation is that I survived it.
