...that while I'm awaiting word, I really have little to do but wait...

...or drink/paint/sew and wait, which will likely be tomorrow. For my masters I always seemed to give in my revisions on friday afternoon and gee whiz, nothing to do until the edits came in on monday.

I find that grad school is much like the s.o. that decides to dump you, but decides to make you hate them in order to spare their feelings (the so-called "induced dump") and have you dump them; as such, they don't kick you out, but make life so annoying that you quit. I guess at the very least the ending of frustration makes it feel a bit better, but still, it rather sucks. The only good news is I'm ending with more money than I started with and I already have a masters in an employable field, so I'm not too bad off. Still yay losing three years.
