"The term is not only a classist slur but a racial epithet that marks certain whites as a breed apart...It is the most visible form of whiteness...and ultimately calls attention to the extent to which many people still associate all racially marked identities with victimhood." An interesting 'point to ponder' that I neglected to include in my paper. If the essay seems fragmented, that's because it is; I exerpted what I felt was most relevent. Sorry if it's hard to read.
