Hey there everybody! Just Doug here... from cold East Tennessee and the Great Smoky Mountains! I hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year! I am quite sure 2008 will be a great year and I am excited about it! I talked to Donna and Richard on the phone today. Donna it sure was great to hear your voices again! I am looking forward to the 2008 State Pageant in Natchitoches again! It was a beautiful town.. the land looks a lot like home here in Morristown, Tennessee, although we do have the mountains... Louisiana is a beautiful state and I will always call it my summer home away from home.. It is a magical place to me, as I have some very fond memories down there that mean a lot to me...Anyway, I want to also take a moment to mention one thing...God! Everybody, please take a moment to appreciate your family and the things you have that are closest to you..it can all be taken away from you in the blink of an eye...things can change in a heartbeat.. Anyway, let's all make 2008 a great year! I look forward to seeing you all again. I have been looking at your photos online and seeing all the fun stuff... everyone dressed up for Christmas and celebrating..enjoying everyone's company! Anyway, enough of the mushy stuff... back to work... The dvds and my little photo discs will be the same price as last year..As I sit here typing, I forgot to mention a little thing about 2007!! 2007 was a different type of year for me. It had it's ups and downs like everyone else I guess. But I would like to invite you all to please, if you are a music lover as I am... Please take the time to go online and find the song titled "Miracles" by Air Supply... This song will really let you see just how important life really is and it will enable you to see just how important and POSSIBLE Miracles really are! It really changed my outlook on life. Can everyone please keep this family in your prayers at this trying time and Christmas season. Pam, Hazel and I knew this young lady from here in Morristown from the high school and we also know her mother and father. She tragically died as the result from injuries in an automobile accident yesterday morning. She was a passenger in a vehicle that collided with a fuel tanker truck. This young lady was a beautiful princess and will be sadly missed. She was 16 years of age and was the passenger in the vehicle. The driver of the car she was riding in, pulled into the path of the oncoming tractor trailer... Please also keep the truck driver in your prayers as well, he was taken to the hospital this morning with signs of a possible heart attack...Some of the other passengers in the car were also seriously injured and one is critical. Louisiana Cinderella State Dvd's and Videos -- Magic Moments Video Service, 08:10:45 07/03/07 Tue [7]
Hey there everybody!! Just Doug here from HOT, HOT Tennessee!! I hope everything is going well for everybody! I was just writing to let you all know that the dvd's and videos for your pageant are nearing completion!!! All of the dvd's videos will be mailed out on Thursday and Friday of this week! So, you will have them soon! I hope everybody is pleased with the videos! The pageant filmed real well and it looks great on tv! I hope that you will be able to experience the pageant once again and I hope it is just like being at the pageant again!!! Please make sure that you receive everything. Also make sure that everything plays properly.... Anytime that you mass produce videos or dvd's in the amount that I have done, chances are there might be some errors. Also, I always like to note everyone about the DVD's. DVD's (dvd-r) are not guaranteed to play in all dvd players. Please make sure that yours plays properly and that there are no errors or skips.. If this happens, try it in another dvd player or computer.. If there is a problem , be sure to let me know and I will get you the pageant in VHS format. There are not usually any problems, but it is possible that there could be some dvd players that can't play the dvd's. it is mostly older dvd players or the cheaper low end models. Anyway, the most exciting part this year in Louisiana was all of you NICE PEOPLE. It was a pleasure coming down and filming for you. I hope that I was able to capture this special moment in time for you. Please always keep in mind that I keep all of the original videos on file here in Morristown. God forbid that anything terrible happens to you or your family members, but if you ever need any copies of this pageant or any pageant, let me know. I know some tapes and dvd's get worn out, damaged or lost, so no need to worry, I have the originals stored away.... If you just want to call me and check the status on your videos please feel free to call me. I will let you know exactly what day it ships out. Also call if you have any questions...... 2007 Louisiana Cinderella State Pageant -- Magic Moments Video Service, 22:07:07 06/06/07 Wed [6]
Hello there everybody! Just Douglas McKinney here with Magic Moments Video Service. I am finally getting to write on the message board! It took me a couple of days to get caught up from the trip. I want to personally congratulate all of the new 2007 Louisiana Royalty! Way to go!! Also, I want to congratulate every single contestant that participated in the pageant. You are all WINNERS! It was so good to see everyone again! It was also great to see all of the new faces to the Louisiana Cinderella Program! Everyone welcomed me right into your family! I hope that I got to talk to everyone..... I know that I may not have gotten to, but I really tried. Special thanks to Mrs. Mae for arranging my lunch on Sunday.. I had me some of that good ole cajun food!! YUM YUM! I must say that the town of Natchitoches was so beautiful! I had never been to that part of the state before. The dvd's turned out so good!! The pageant filmed well as it always does. I will get the dvd's out in the mail within 3-4 weeks. The photos I took also turned out great! There are some real funny ones along with the great photos of the contestants in their outfits and also at the parties! When you get your photo discs, be looking for some extra photos that I think you will find to be very special. There are some photos that I have taken over the years and that are very special to me. I have been with Cinderella since 1994 and have travelled to the various states to do the videos for the State Pageants. I look at each trip as a special trip and also as a way for me to experience everything that life has to enjoy. If there is one thing that Cinderella has taught me over the years, is that life is all about relationships and the love of your fellow friend. Cinderella is about teaching young ladies moral values, the achievement of self worth, good self esteem, and the value of FAMILY. Cinderella is all about family! I know I am going on and on, but I feel that I must at least say things when I get them on my mind. Anyway, people, love your children and your family!! Each spring, I look so much forward to coming down to Louisiana. That is the most important thing to me about the Louisiana program is the people! I love you all. You have all been good to me and I look forward to next year already! I really felt at home the other night when I was talking into the microphone giving my thanks to Donna and Allen. Everyone in the room clapped for me.. That meant so much to me. I got choked up and didn't know what else to say!! Anyway.. I know, I know, I am getting all sentimental now.. Ok, Miss Joey. You sing so beautiful. If I were a female, I would love to have your pretty voice! That song you sang brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it! That pretty voice should be on a cd sitting at the top of the billboard charts! Joey, I also have some great photos of you. I wish I would have had more time to talk to you last week.. I was just so busy and you were as well... Andrew, you are going to make a fantastic emcee! I thought you did a wonderful job.. Nicholas, you did a great job with the sound! Richard, way to go with the backdrops and sets for the stage!! They look great on the dvd!! Mrs. Mae.. what else can I say??? I am still laughing from all the stuff we talked about... and yes, you can borrow my little table again next year..LOL! Again, SPECIAL THANKS to Donna and Allen for having me down again this year! JUST WANTED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW LIESL PARTICIPATED IN THE SCIENCE FAIR AT OUR SCHOOL TODAY. SHE PLACED FIRST IN MATHEMATICAL SCIENCE! SHE WAS SO HAPPY AND SURPRISED. SHE REALLY WOWED THE JUDGES WITH HER ORAL PRESENTAION. SHE TOLD ME IT WAS ALL THE EXPERIENCE IN INTERVIEW WITH HER PAGEANTS THAT REALLY HELPED HER ANSWER THE QUESTIONS FROM THE JUDGES. JUST WANTED TO SHARE!
If you search for Easter or Pageant you will also find everything. Sizes girls 8 to girls 16 and some Junior sizes too! Things are listed cheap to move out so if you see something you like, grab it quick! I miss everyone so much and I can't wait to see all of my Cindy Friends Again real soon!

We just wanted to let everyone know that hilary's brother, Matt is now an official former Marine!!! He recieved his honorable discharge last week and planned to leave Camp LeJeune on Friday. Many hearfelt thanks to all of our Cindy family who have sent up much needed prayers the past four years. We plan on having a wonderful holiday with him home. Thanks again, Kim & Hilary
