"Not if it risks you." Tyrsis didn't let go of Damuthca's hand, even as he lifted he then set her down again. She didn't want him to leave her, didn't want him to harm himself in an attempt to heal her. "No more sacrifices."

She couldn't bring herself to explain the emotion that had flown so freely within that scroll, that churned and boiled inside of her even at the thought of it. If love could heal anything then...

...but what the cost. Garric as gone now and...

"Emi." Tyriss blinked at the vague outline that crossed her in vision for a moment, then sighed. "Cyrus, Emi, please stay close with Aphrodite. Until this is over, I would rather neither of you go anywhere alone." She had been a mother once, in a different life, where everything was different than it was now. Remorse touched her expression for a moment as she thought of Jin, then passed as Damuthca once more became a primary concern.

"Lets go to the courtyard, then talk before anything is tried. I'm not up to exchanging you for me, no matter what the consequence." If he respected her, he would honor that. Golden eyes spoke volumes.
