Sometime during the long night Dawnsfire's dreams faded into the soothing darkness of oblivion. That sleep was more restful and deeper than before, letting her regain her lost energies. When light finally filtered through the small curtained window Dawnsfire awoke. For several long moments she lay there, trying to piece together why she was in yet another unfamiliar bed. Memories washed over her as she sat up and she drew her knees to her chest, arms wrapping around them tightly. Even now, with light spilling in through the window, dustmotes dancing in the yellow beams it was hard to believe that her people were gone, dead.

A few deep breaths later the young Shaman stood and wandered through the small house, finding a brush to fix her hair. It looked like the cottage had belonged to a woman who was neat. There were clean clothes hanging in a small closet and after some rummaging Dawnsfire found a leather skirt that reached just past her knees and a loose fitting midnight blue, sleeveless shirt. Finding the bathroom she cleaned up as best she could before slipping the unfamiliar clothing on and stepping outside. She was assaulted by the light the moment she cleared the doorway and squinting she moved off to try and find Silverfox. She wanted......needed to see a familiar face. She needed to see someone she knew so she would feel so terribly alone.
