Shortly after Johan left Lashana got up and bathed, dressing in something light. Her daggers looked almost out of place draped over the flowing outfit, but bedamned if she was going to go in without weapons. If Johan had waited she'd have used the Weave to send him home, something that occurred to her after he'd left. Taking Yomi's hand she looked at her daughter, gazing into the sparkling aquamarine eyes for a moment before speaking.
"Yomi, we're gonna go on a trip. When we get there I want you to hide behind something okay? Just until Mommy says it's okay to come out."
Yomi nodded and Lashana wrapped a thread of the Weave around her and her daughter, shifting them from the Ty'frr's location to a place deep within the bowels of the earth. Letting go of Yomi's hand she heard her daughter hide behind one of the many boulders that littered this place. Her eyes had barely adjusted when she felt the rush of air that told her of an attack. She grinned and waited until the dwarf was in range before spinning around, feathered wings thumping him away. The dwarf let out a string of foul curses and she laughed.
"Tengreth you never could bowl me over, not even when you caught me unawares. Your lucky I used feathered wings instead of bladed, otherwise your insides would be decorating your outside."
~"Danged fool bird, don' ye know we's don' want ye feathered ijits here? We bain't be allies n'more."~
"I know.... and it saddens me Tenny. But even before the agreement to be allies happened WE were still friends. I was even adopted by Bricaacle remember? Don't tell me I'm not welcome here anymore?"
~"Ye bloody well know ye're welcome 'Shana, but tha others... orders are ta kill 'em if'n they shows thar faces ta us. We busted our arses gettin ta yur peoples an fer thanks we get kicked out on our ear....AFTER tha bloody battle was over. I dunno how ta fix it neither an Gromish dunna want any o' us ta talk to yur people no more."~
Lashana sighed, this was going to be a long day. Absently she sent a message to Johan via the Weave, letting him know where she was...... and to stay away until she called. She let him know that Yomi was with her and the dwarves. Maybe something could be salvaged........maybe.
