Any two sets of eyes will see things differently from one another.
Silverfox was having the time of her life. Where Dawnsfire saw loneliness and the pain of losing her clan, Silverfox drown herself in the sensation that there were others like themselves still left in this world. She didn't want to think of things any other way, it would hurt too much if she were to allow herself to do so again. Running to Hogoromo had given her plenty of time to realize just how truly alone they were. Pseudo-humans were good enough. For now, maybe forever. She didn't want to think, and so didn't.
The air was clean and crisp, sounds of a streamlet running by as they made their way through the happy people and towards the small home. Idlefalls was beautiful in a simple way, a village located in a copse of trees at the far edge of the Sapphire Plains, not quite deep enough into the woods to be forested, but nicely covered over by shade trees. A stream ran by, no more than two meters wide as it ran along a dirt path, trickling lazily over the occasional boulder that gave the village its name. Idlefalls, a place to relax and come home to. Little more than a travel stop without the tavern, just friendly people and spare homes to pay for a night in.
Her mother had stayed there once, on an anniversery... she pushed the thought aside. There was no need to think of such things at a time like this. Humans were back on Aurora and soon they would have a home again. Somewhere safe, where they could survive long enough to plant their own crops and begin to live again. More humans waited in a place called Terra. The Bloodknights had told her so. They didn't seem like bad people, despite the weapons they carried lazily beside them. They were... normal... in a comforting way.
A flash smile was sent at Dawnsfire as Silverfox walked through the door. Her shaman had been right, it was a nice little house and there were even some clean clothes in the closet. They would probably be too big, but beggers couldn't be choosers and their seemed to be plenty of rope lying around the village. She could make things fit if she had to. If. She fully intended to search the other houses when she woke, and someone here ought to have been her size.
