The human messenger turned, wide eyed and scared she hardly looked like herself beneath the blood and dirt and grime that plastered her body. Hair that would have normally been white was brown with dust and mud, but the face was clearly the face of one of Dawnsfire's clansmen. It was Silverfox, not even old enough to be considered a woman, alone in a city freshly finished with war.

She babbled out what she had seen to Dawnsfire as though the shaman could make everything right again, dark eyes glittering with pain. Nothing else that happened in the room mattered right then. Dawnsfire was the only living human she had seen since the slaughtering began.

The woman, Tyrsis, looked at the crazyish Forgotten for a moment before gently guiding Dawnsfire and Silverfox to another room. Somewhere that they might not disturb the man, then left again, returning to her queen's chambers to also stand silent guard. She didn't know the Forgotten, though the intent to guard Queen Zenra radiated off of him. Either way, she didn't know him.
