 Kyira stepped from the treeline, if he had looked more closely he would have seen her anyway. She hadn't been trying to hide.

"Its just me." Reddish hair fell partially across her eyes as she tilted her head to look up at the Wyrd creature. He would have seen her before. Everyone had. She'd made sure of it. Naturally, she was the captain of the guard's girlfriend. She belonged.

Tyrsis saw the look on Myuler's face as he walked towards his house but let him reach the door before she spoke.

"Vell and Rylin are at the palace. Zenra was wounded and Rylin's healing was essential." She looked at him for a moment, golden eyes very sincere. "Myuler, I need to ask you about something. Can we go inside and I'll explain everything?"
