The shop owner wasn't one that had been seen around Hogoromo for awhile, a deliberate thing on the part of the woman standing behind the cloth covered counter. Her wares were protected by thin sheets of plastic that shed the water even as it struck them, the blades beneath glistening dully. Orange splattered black wings curled around her as she stared at the person who'd taken refuge beneath the thin awning that overhung the entrance to her stall. Gold ringed green eyes noted the squirming piglet in his arms, a faint smile crossing the woman's face.

"Heyla stranger. Step further inside my stall if you wish, I've no customers now thanks to the rain so there is plenty of room. And it is drier in here than beneath that thin scrap of fabric. The tent is waterproofed, but the awning isn't."

Raaine's warrior-self frowned inwardly, there was something wrong about the man standing beneath the awning, but the warrior-self wasn't in control of the body. Of course the woman who's personality had once been divided into three segments and had had one of those removed never went anywhere unarmed. The sword at her waist was only one of the visible weapons, the daggers hidden up her sleeves and concealed within her boots were others.

Her shop held more weapons, not surprising since that was her stock in trade. She'd been gone from Hogoromo for a very long time, keeping company with a man who resembled a cat. He'd gifted her with a matching set of daggers who's handles were carved from dragon's teeth. The blades themselves were mithral and he'd made them himself. They'd parted company some time back when he'd found a village that accepted him. Before she'd left he'd set up shop, creating more weapons like the ones he'd given to her. As a parting gift she'd gifted him with four of her own feathers, plucked in their bladed aspect. He'd said he intended to turn them into a matched set of daggers for his own use which had made her smile. Both blades that he'd given her were secured to her forearms in spring loaded sheaths that with a subtle twist of her wrist would put them into her hands.

"Come on, I don't bite.... unless of course your someone who has an urge to fight. The storm doesn't look like it's going to let up anytime soon and your going to be soaked to the skin if you stand there much longer."

Already the awning beneath which Impazaeal stood was beginning to bow beneath the weight of the water collecting on it. A few more seconds and the water would cause the awning to dump it's watery load all over him...... if he chose to stand there.

Yes I've brought back my crazy lady. It would seem that Andrew has other concerns atm and doesn't have time to post... and I'm tired of waiting for him to make a return.
