The gaze Lashana directed at her husband held an unnatural calm and if he happened to be at all sensitive to magical currents he might have blanched. Shaking her head slightly she answered him, her voice almost hollow sounding.

"I know what I said Johan and I cannot change the past. As for the Ty'frr I don't need you to think of a way to help, I know what I have to do. The irony of it.... is that it was staring me right in the face. The solution to this problem is sitting in your arms as a matter of a fact."

Violet eyes flicked up to Yomi's face and a flicker of a smile crossed her face and then it was gone. She seemed distant as she turned and sat down on the floor, legs crossed and wings trailing behind her before continuing.

"Yomi has been eating and drinking the same things the Ty'frr have been and there's no poison in her body. When the Weave changed her it altered her ... her reaction to poison. It doesn't affect her at all. The Weave however is..... constrained against changing an entire race. That's what it wanted ME to do. The only problem is... I don't know how much of me this is going to take. I don't think it'll kill me, but comatose is a definate possibility. I sent you the note because I need to know if your going to be there if..... WHEN I wake up. And I need to know that you'll care for our children."

Looking up at Johan soberly she wondered if those words she'd said before had wounded him too much for him to want to wait for her. If they had she wouldn't have anything left to come back to. Her children would survive even if she wasn't there..... Johan's honor wouldn't let him give his children anything less than his best. She needed to know if he could forgive the words she'd spoken in anger...if he could forgive her.
