As for MY 'chores' they consisted of cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry.....which I started doing at the tender age of eight when my mother died. I learned well and, to this day, I still enjoy doing all those things. The neighbor boys I grew up with all had lots of chores to do, not only for their own family but for the elderly neighbors as well. Today's kids are too busy with their computers, IPods and other electronic devices to care much about helping with chores. We lived in a much better time, didn't we?
