No, this post isn't funny at all....and I doubt anyone here would think it is. I know you've heard the old saying "you have to learn to love yourself before you can love someone else", Have you learned to love yourself yet? From just knowing you.....you don't love yourself at all. I have been trying for years to prove to you that you are a wonderful, loving, giving man who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone. I've offered myself to you, someone who would and has given you her soul. You chose to turn your back on that. You said it in your post "I'm a little gunshy......no offense". I'm not stupid.....I've tried. We both figured out that the distance between us, and me being married and certainly not ready to leave Mike, that friendship and love are what is destined for us.

Having said that......that doesn't mean that you won't find someone that you can share your life with. Lonliness is suffocating...I've experienced it here, where you are lonely in your own house full of people. But I honestly believe that you are going to have to learn to love yourself, or you will always be "gun shy".

I love you....I always will. You've become a part of my DNA. All I want for you is to be happy, and for us to continue to be in each others lives. What we had was incredible....and after 8 years of knowing each other, we can't walk away from that. I'm here if you need me, and the 330 mile comment stands.
