My current cocktail of meds has been the best so far. Doc ups and downs them according to my mood. By far the best med for me is Lithium, although the side effects are kind of tough. I take Lamictal....but to tell you the truth, I don't know what it does for me....It's like swallowing a tic tac. Seroquel helps me sleep, effexor is a godsend, and xanax helps me get through the day. Put all of them together, and I can actually get out of bed and shower all in one day.....LOL

Doc plays with my lithium level all the time. Same with the effexor....depends on whether I am depressed or manicky.

Love, Mikki
