Subject: Feeling better...

I am feeling better today. Yesterday was kinda bizarre mentally. It was like I was looking through glasses shaded with a dark smoke of confusion. I went out to the park after infusion. The hike/bike trail was closed at a new point. Another visitor said the trail was open but there was a posted sign. So, I got to the sign... newly asphalted... but the man said... I went around the sign... the asphalt was still warm... went a tiny way and then up onto the road... the visitor was referring to the older closure at another point. Warm sticky asphalt / crazy decision... kinda through me off and I was already off. The road is much hillier and longer... called on reservoir of life energy and just kept trudging on. At that spot is the steepest, longest hill of the road and park. Many times while on the trail, I'd look at that hill and be glad I did not have to ride up it. I did yesterday... whew!!... so slow... 2nd lowest gear out of 27 gears. Today, I did that hill twice... almost went a bit more than twice around the lake and twice is 16 miles but saved my legs for my walk. O'boy, o'boy, a new challenge! I cannot tell you just how much "can do" keeps me alive; I mean it. I am not looking forward to IV hydration infusion three times per week, but if it allows me to still do my workouts, other stuff, and be healthier, then okay.

Getting through those periods of hellish depression is more doable because of you awesome folks here... much thanks!

RICHARD
