I shouldn't go watch him play ball tonight?

Because I waffled and broke down and called him and asked if the offer was still good to come watch him play.

He hesitated, because he says he never plays as well when I watch, then said sure, come.

I was hoping my daughter would want to come, but she says she isn't interested.

I told him it was 50/50 that I'd come and right now I think I won't go unless I can get K.C. to change her mind.

I have no real desire to sit out in the heat and humidity, especially by myself.

I just thought of it because several people asked if I could go watch him play when I told them the story.

In a way, me going to watch the games just reinforces his choices to work and play ball instead of seeing me.

So I just complicated the situation more by asking.

Oh well. Now he can be disappointed if I don't show up. Or relieved maybe.

I wish I had a much better alternative to going.

Like going to WalMart or something.

Bleh.

Liz
