Subject: Neutered Animals

We are studying in vocabulary class about gender, mules were discussed as neutral animals. Is there any truth to this statement?

I'm not quite sure I understand what you're asking. The mule is a hybrid and bred from 2 different species, the horse and the donkey. Most hybrids are sterile and can't have offspring. Altho they can't have offspring, the males are still gelded (neutered). Perhaps that's what you were asking?

Does a mule have gender? Is there a male & female mule?

Yep. There are male and female mules.

male mules are sterile but females can be bred but only to a horse sire . tey geld the males cause they still have the hormones of a stud
