  We have a terrific sorrel, gaited jack (Czeschin bred) of our own, but I would like to find a coal Black with white or silver points Mammoth Jack not under 60 inches. A true mammoth with draft qualities that will cross well with my 17 hand black registered Percheron mare for a draft mule. We're in SW Missouri and I don't mind a weekend trip but if your jack is too far from us, shipped semen would be preferred.
  I absolutely love the Bramoth bred jacks so check them out if you're wondering what I'm looking for. They are massive in size and conformation that is just excellent. Bramoth Farms will not breed to mares there so I'd love to find one of their jacks offspring if anyone knows where there is a jack standing of Jen Jack or Ol' Sorry breeding. I'd love to find one of these guys and I would definitely re-consider a longer drive for one of these amazing jacks.

  I have two standard donkeys for sale. One is a gelding and the other is still a jack. Gelding is a blue-gray with white points, and the jack is a blue-roan with white points. They are about 1-1/2yrs old. Gelding stands about 45in at the withers and the jack 47in. They both are in ur back pocket kind of donkeys and will follow you all over. The gelding loves to be rubbed and scratched. The jack is a bit shyier than the gelding but will allow you to rub him alittle. They are both great donkeys but need to find new homes because I'm looking for something that I can use to go trail riding. Unfortunately they will not grow big enough for me to ride. Would rather sell them together at $700 but will sell them seperately at $300 for the gelding and $350 for the jack. Located in central PA.   I was given a Jenny a short time ago. She delivered a baby jenny 2 days after I got her. The mother is mean. She absolutely will not be touched and kicks aggresively when she feels uncomfortable. The baby, however, is a doll! I kept mother and baby stalled up for a couple of weeks and was able to get my hands on baby right away. Mother allowed it but we had to open gate and stand outside of stall and pet on baby. I then moved both to a round pen. Baby, again, came to me everytime I went in to feed. Baby is now about 6 weeks old. She and mom are running with the other horses with no problem. Baby is running to greet us when we go out there and allows me to handle her without hesitation. Mom is still untouchable.
  I don't plan to keep the mother. My concern is if the baby will learn these bad manners from mom and, if so, would I be wise to wean baby now?
  I would welcome any advice as this is my first donkey. Horses I have experience with but not donkeys.

  I have two miniture donkeys approx. 300 lbs ea. Their pasture is very wet and soft with mud in many locations. I would like to move them to another pasture to keep the mud out of their hoofs. The new pasture is solid 12"+ grass. The pasture they are in now is about 1" tall. MY QUESTION IS, CAN THE GRASS CHANGE CAUSE A PROBLEM TO THE MINI DONKEYS? I know that spring grass would be bad or deadly, but I wasn't sure about winter. This is Oregon and we have very little sun. So far just rain.

  Hello,
  I have a beautiful yearling filly that should mature over 16.2h and is registered with North American Spotted Draft Horse Association. She is black and white AND homozygous for the tobiano gene. This filly is very attractive with about 70/30 white/black markings and 4 white stockings with black hooves. Her price is $3500. We are located near Houston TX. I wondered if this type of horse would be desirable to a mule breeder, asssuming that the homozygous gene would still guarantee a tobiano mule.

  I have a miniature mule. He is only a year old but has not had the attention needed. I bought him from an older couple who had them in their field but they were not able to interact with him. I have been trying to just get him to used to being around people. I go in every day and just sit. He charges, kicks, and bites. I need some advice on what else I should be doing.   I have a 300 acre farm that I am trying to down size ! I love them all to death but I can't give the attention needed.We have 30 purebred donkey's that are all 101 % broke ! They are all broke and riden by my son's, they are safe around children,easy to catch and shoe,easy to saddle and ride . They are both leg and rein broke, and are traffic safe ! We have 3 that are reguarily ridden for coon hunting and stand like a board when shot off of, they do not spook at the sound of gun or any loud noises ! Most of our donkey's have been shown in our local fairs and parades ! We are selling them very cheap , to GOOD HOMES ONLY ! $400-1200 a piece ! We are also selling my pride and joy, my 45 horses ! From Percheron's to ponies ! We have to many to give info on ! All are atleast green broke. Some are barrel racers, race tracers , brood mares , studs, stunt horses ,and studs ! All are easy to shoe and catch , everything is kept up to date on shots !
