Not Canadian either, you also know me as John Meyer, I've sent you some helmet material in the past. I may not be Canadian, but I've been a CFL fan longer than many Canadians.....I remember watching the Fog Bowl live on Minneapolis tv. Have you any follow up comments on my Saskatchewan odd logo material? It's a bit like the BC triple C logo, the Canadian Confederation Celebration was in 1969, but British Columbia celebrated their own entry in 1971....which confused collectors (me for one) for some time. I believe the Roughriders wore that logo in 1967 rather than 1965 because the game action photo I found in the October 1967 Canadian Football News said so. But off the top of my head I can't think why they did it. They started the 1967 season with the "S" logo, and played the Grey Cup with the "S" logo.......where did they find time to use the odd one? And why? If I didn't mention it before, I contacted two sources in Regina one of them claimed the team never wore that logo despite the fact that I've three different photos showing that they did. The other simply did not remember the odd logo and had no evidence it ever existed. Again, I think I'd have to drive to Regina, visit the city library and go through the newspaper micro films to find some proof. That's a bit of a trip.
