I've rebonded my hair 3 times and the 3rd time I did it, it started to frizz and curl badly at the roots and at the ends. It's so bad, I've condsidered shaving it and getting a wig. But my parents don't allow me to shave my head, so I'm stuck with this crappy hair. I've tried every conditioner and anti frizz shampoo in the market, even home remedies like avocado, olive oil, egg white and mayonaise, but it still ends up like before. HELP!!!!!!!!
I don't know what to do. Also, between APhogee and H2 Ion, which brand has better results?

I just had my hair rebonded this thursday, he told me not to wash it for 3 days and not to let it crumple while I sleep, and of course, not to tie it. Today is the 4th day, what a relief! I took a bath and shampooed and placed conditioner on my hair.. I let it dry, then I was so histerical when i saw my hair all bushy!!! :O It is not straight! Its buhaghag! The half, its straight then the other half, its not.. I cant put it into words.. argh! This hair is really killing me.. I'm planning to have it relaxed tomorrow or this week, I need it to be done before june 5! i have a special appointment on that date! So please help me! Is it okay if I have it relaxed this week?

arghhh...I can truly empathize with all your hair troubles. I am a natural wavy-frizy head. i did rebonding in the Philippines once a year and my GOODNESS...it works like magic...100% super straight and shiny to give it that natural look and not flat nor limp. It was the best so i did it for years. Then I moved to SJ,California. I have been scouring around for a respectable salon that can do the same stuff---NADA! what a disappointment! the best they can do is the Japanese Hair straightening. and i tell you ladies...it's SOOOOOO HORRIBLE....it messed up my hair. it was soooo limp and dry and not even all the way straight. it made my hair looked like it's just glued to my scalp like some sort of nasty wig!!!!...and all the while i though CALIFORNIA got the best stuffs in beauty....what a disappointment. If any gal-friedns out there knows of any salon in SJ, CA that can do rebonding as good as they do in Phillippines and Singapore (the best!---i have seen it!), let me know....HELP!!!!!!!

i have a problem here is my hair spit ends and damage, i have been to salon for colouring my hair after every 6 month, it was Ok for the first 3 times when i go for colouring, until the forth time i go to the same salon and having my hair coloured, i started to felt that my hair became very sticky and dry and even my hair color is faded at the same time. i duno wat should i do, so i have given an advice of treatment, after 2 weeks, my hair turn into some sort of weird colour that most of friends thought that i recolour my hair. Now i decide to do rebonding on my hair to hide the dryness and coloured it again so that it look fresh. would this hurt my hair or should i wait for longer period to this.

1) Is it harmful to go for rebonding?
2) I like my original hair, but just when I go for interviews my hair don't stick well.
3) I just want to do rebonding once and then want my natural hair back. So is it possible?
4) How long the effect of rebonding stays?
5) Do you know any good salon in salem, or where I can get cheap and good treatment, as I am a student.
6) Do beauty schools give good treatment?

I just got my hair rebonded using the Wella system. My hair is straight now but they have lost the shine & bounce they used to have when i would straighten them on my own. ALso the texture is different- they r not as silky. I really just want my old hair back & i'm wondering if once the new hairs start growing if they will return to the same texture as they used 2 b or remain as they r now. Hi, my overall body skin is okay. But at my buttocks where the sit bones are, the skins are darker and coarser than the rest of the body. I guess it¡¯s because I am thin and when I sit, the bones press the skin and those regional skins are rubbed all the time.
I wonder if there is some way I can make those regional skins just like the rest of the body. Any idea in using some body scrub/oil/cream or spa treatments? Thanks a lot.

Hi, i needed ur advise.. My hair was very very dry due to coloured. I've coloured alot of times and now, i wan a rebonding to be done n i'm not sure shld i got for it. I have rebonded my hair for three times already and recently I intend to rebond my hair for the fourth time but is worried that it will damage my hair. I heard that Shishedo product is very good. But not a lot of salons in singapore is using this japanese brand. Does that mean it is not that good after all since not many salons carry this brand? I got the process done about a week ago. It took a little over 6 hours. The guy that did my hair was a real professional. My hair was incredibly beautiful. I was so happy with the results. It cost me $695. If you have the money to do it, I say go for it. Before I did Japanese hair straightening, I hated my hair. Now, I love it. I couldn't have ever imagined that my once curly hair could be this straight and beautiful.

about a year ago my hairdresser put a black hair dye on my hair. after i washed my hair again, i noticed that it had changed the texture of my hair, but in a good way. it had relaxed the natural curls i have in my hair. i put another dye on my hair since then for my roots but it didn't do the same thing and now i'm looking for tis dye again. is there such a thing as a hair dye that contains a hair relaxer, and if so where can i find it?

Hi, well i'm not relatively new to rebonding. This is my 3rd time. The very first time i did it was when the system got introduced and wasn't so bloody trendy. It worked great! 2nd time was marvelous too. But the 3rd time has been a disappointment for me. The last 2 years the owner did the re-bonding for me, I noticed she took her time in applying the creams/gels and carefully ironed out my hair. Her assistant who did my sister's hair last year however hurried the process. My sis's hair become wavy in just hours. She was so sad, I couldn't help her out.
This year the owner wasn't there but the assistant was. She seemed to know what she was doing until she hurried the process. I was a little suprised that the whole thing finished so fast compared to the last 2 years i've been doing it! I went back home happy with what i saw in the mirror. The morning after then came the shock treatment. My hair was wavy a the back and curled up infront. I spent $140 on my hair and went back to her. I stated how unhappy i was cos this has never happened to me before as i always wait until my hair is healthy before i actually proceed to do any rebonding. She re did my hair that day and I went home, praying it wouldn't curl up again.
She then asked me to come back for a steaming session 2 days later, i did. Slightly wavy to straight again. I even bought special shampoo for rebonded hair. ( Capirelax ReBond System) shampoo.
Now my problem is that my hair is wavy infront and dry. I noticed that as soon as i washed my hair on Deepavali morning. What a shock i got after i blow dried my hair!
She told me it was a japan product she used. The best part came when she asked me $30 for steaming my hair. So now i ended up paying $170 for my hair which is not done well as i hoped. I went to pay her today and told her my hair didn't look good. And she said it was because of my layered hair and asked me if my hair touched water? Um...wtf? I mean she told me it was okay to take a hair wash after 3 days! She told me my hair was straight enough when it had gone all wavy. I had no choice but to leave.
What should i do? My hair doesn't have the shiny look like my past re bonding experience and doesn't feel silky at all. Should i buy the special conditioner for my hair too? Cos i'm using the Pantene smooth & silky one now. I would appreciate it if anyone could give me advice.
Sorry this was so long as this is my first time experiencing such unsatisfactory results.

i decided to shave "down there" because i thought it would be better and look nicer...you know how the story goes. well, i did so, used shaving cream and shaved very carefully....but now i have these red, itchy bumps- which i assume is razor burn? or is it not? what is it? and how can i help it? heal it? prevent it? and what should be the RIGHT way to get rid of hair down there? help!...please tell me that i dont have to freak out this much! i would appriciate any advice you can give me. Hi... I hav brittled hair after my mum brought me to a cheap hair cut. I was unsatisfied and went for another hair cut within that month. but i was not satisfied and for a expenive one. I just rebonded my hair a few days ago but i wasnt very satisfied with the effect. The hairstylist is from japan and he uses japan products but i was sad that e effect turn out to be unexpected. I have heard some things about the Japanese hair straightenign system, that it makes even frizzy and curly hair humidity proof. They also claim that you will be able to let your wet hair air dry and it will come out strait. I have seen this process costs any were from $400-600. I saw pictures and the seemed pretty convincing. Is this process the same as rebounding? Has anyone ever done this before and gotten the results you wanted??

Hi. I have the same exact problem with pimples leaving a bald spot on my head. I know how it feels because it really hurts and is pretty gross once it bursts. I was wondering if Elisha's advice helped any. Oh yeah, the pimple on your head is called an abscess (spelling?) I got the process done about a week ago. It took a little over 6 hours. The guy that did my hair was a real professional. My hair was incredibly beautiful. I was so happy with the results. It cost me $695. If you have the money to do it, I say go for it. Before I did Japanese hair straightening, I hated my hair. Now, I love it. I couldn't have ever imagined that my once curly hair could be this straight and beautiful.

I got some rebeonding problem also. A month ago, I have my hair rebonding. Before rebonding, I done hair relaxer half-a-year ago, which the hair-stylist said is ok. After rebonding, i quite satisfy as after relaxer, my hair is quite striaght( wat i hope is can be soft than last time).
But same, the next morning i woke up, my hair is not as soft as the time i walked out of the salon (Jean Yip). When the times goes, my hair became more dry, worse than my relaxer.
Im so sad and angry, i cry for days. Then, 5 days ago, i went back to another Jean Yip, i told 1 of them tat i do rebonding. Then, now is turned up like nothing.. The aim i went there is to trim my hair. Then, i asked what shld i do hair treatment or wat to improve. He said I shld do hair treatment, then ask me to do the most expensive one.
Now, almost my ends are very dry, got split ends and even got alot os 'knots'. Im thinkg to do another hair rebonding, is it possible? Hope you can advise me. Thanx.

Can someone give me any advice regarding the rebonding process? I had my hair rebonded one month ago. I already straightened my hair 6 months ago and did the touch-up with the rebonding process on the roots. My hair was pretty healthy as I went to the salon almost every week for hair treatments. The hairdresser waited a bit at the roots, then at the end (for almost two minutes), she combed through the ends of the hair where I already had straightened it. On top of that, she used a saphire iron instead of the ceramic. It's been almost two months now and my hair was dull and there was no way of combing it. I had to chop off some ends in order for it to look better. It was breaking and splitting as well. Now that I cut it, it is better.
WHat can I do now when I have to do the next touch up?
I am worried. Please help.
