  Hi. I have the same exact problem with pimples leaving a bald spot on my head. I know how it feels because it really hurts and is pretty gross once it bursts. I was wondering if Elisha's advice helped any. Oh yeah, the pimple on your head is called an abscess (spelling?) I know this because I went to the doctor and asked but she did not know what the cause of it was. Please write back to tell me if Elisha's advice helped. Thank you.

  I got the process done about a week ago. It took a little over 6 hours. The guy that did my hair was a real professional. My hair was incredibly beautiful. I was so happy with the results. It cost me $695. If you have the money to do it, I say go for it. Before I did Japanese hair straightening, I hated my hair. Now, I love it. I couldn't have ever imagined that my once curly hair could be this straight and beautiful.

  Hi, I had done my rebonding before christmas last yr. The outcome was gd when i came out of the salon. (i done my rebonding at KHE hairdresser @ hougang, which cost me almost $300). But when i reach home, the end of the hair, were auite wavy. A week later, I went back to the salon because there is warranty for the hair. And the hairdresser said that my hair is initially wavy and i had cut my hair with multi layer, so there is no choice that my hair will somehow become wavy. Then I went back home. 3 days later, the situation became worse, i went back to the salon, she finally redo it again. but it is even worse, some of my hair had been damaged! I am very disheartened. I intend to do a rebonding again in the march. Is KHE a 'black" shop or is it really my hair affecting the result? And I intend to go to Jean yip, luckily I saw the message that one of the poeple remark bad comments on Jean yip. Which salon is gd? Any recommendation? Thank You!!

  dear elisha... i hv a lot of problems abt my face and my figure.. my face hv many big pores and blackheads! so each time i put on liquid foundation and powder-based foundation... i hv tried using all types of cleanser, facia srub, but no use at all! and my face is usually onily because of the make up! do u hv any way to help me without spending much $$ on it?   hi... well i had a very dry hair and have some natural curls before rebonding. well after rebonding it was great. My hair looks like a rain tree(very straight). But after a week it wasnt so straight. small bits of curls came out around the surrounding.it was a little oily though. but now i dont noe wat styles i can do with my hair... by the way my haire is around above my shoulders. bye and take care do reply. now i have problems wat kind of styles i can do wif my short rebonded hair?

  This is addressed to all the people with post- rebonding problems...what sort of hair texture did u have to start with???coz mine is very cury, thick and frizzy..and dry...i straighten w/ a hair iron(Muster, its an italian brand) and my hair looks( and feels) very good at the end of it around 70 % of the time..the rest of the time it looks better that it did to start w/, but not quite perfect :(..i think that has something to do w/ the humidity levels and stuff
  the one big pain about this is that i have to spend about 45 mins every 4 days on straightening my hair
  I was thinking about giving that up and going fr rebonding... after reading the stuff here i'm having second thoughts

  Hi..I would like to ask u some questions about rebonding.I rebonded my hair last nov and the outcome was very gd.But after i rebonded my hair and i dyed my hair after a mth i rebonded and as at that time i wan my hair to be in some sort of blonde colour but the first time i dyed my hair the results was not gd n the colour is not wat i wan so i dyed it again ard one month later but the effect out was not wat i wanted again so i went to dye again at this time i was happy with the results but ard 1-2 mths later those new hair grow out n i was not very happy with my hair the top is black n the rest is coloured so i brought a bottle of hair dye to dye my hair,the hair dye i brought contains bleaching and after this my hair rebonding is almost spoilted n it becomes very dry.I D.I.Y bleached my hair again and my hair now is in very dry condition,i have already stopped coloured my hair for now and i thinking of colour my hair back to black colour n go for rebonding,it is alright for that??Will it help?Please help me n ans my question to my e-mail ok?Thanks!

  I am currently using this brand of shampoo and conditioner 'Bealite'. Anyone using it as well? Any comments? I'm not sure where it is manufactured in though, the bottle doesn't say. I heard that it's pretty commonly used and recommended by many hairstyling salons for rebonding.

  Formally, i have straight hair. Until i reach the age of 14,
  my hair become extremely curly.
  I tried many ways like drying my hair with hair dryer but
  the next day, it will become even more curly and frizzy.
  I also tried applying olive oil to my hair, before washing
  to get rid of the frizz but failed.
  Especially when everytime i go out, my hair will get more fizzy and untidy although i always comb my hair.
  I noticed that some portion of my hair is wiry, not in the same thickness.
  So is rebonding the right choice???

  hi all,
  Hoping anyone here could help me at all.
  There's this paricular hair salon around the little india area called "Papillio" or something like that. It charges very little for rebonding and treatment, irregardless of hair length, i went there once for a treatment and it cost very little, relative to hair salons here.

  Those of you looking for a relatively cheap and good rebonding place, I'll recommend a salon called "Highest" at Far East Plaza. Just did it yesterday and it feels great! Of course, maybe it's too early to tell, but I am pretty sure that it'll last. Look for May Liu, think she's very experienced in this field. They used Shisedo products and my thick and relatively long hair (about 10-15cm below shoulder) was done for only $220!
  
  Of course, do remember that the effects really do depend on your hair texture as well!

  Last night a gave myself a perm to straighten out my hair. I left into long and I lost a huge amount of hair. This morning I Brushed it out agian and I'm not losing as much but my hair keeps on falling out. It is not breaking its just completely coming out. I have alot of hair so really can't tell.   Hi,I just done my rebonding yesterday...1/2 yr ago,my hair was severely damaged..i spend a bomb on protein treatments monthly,Schwarzkopf products on repairing my hair..now after my rebonding,i got very dry hair and i can even see some of my hair strands looking like "fried noodles".I'm very upset but my hairstylist said i need to go for protein treatments and good shampoo to improve the condition. I'm wondering if my hair can be "cured" or do i have to chop off my hair to get rid the "fried" strands?

  Hi! Greetings from Los Angeles, I am of latin descent, Mexican to be more specific. I have course,strong,fairly healthy hair with a wavy texture, never dyed or permed.
  The thing is I would love to have the pin straight silky shiny hair that rebonding seems to promise. My hair is like I said wavy and most times frizzy with a rough dry feel to it mostly towards the ends that I try to get trimmed very often to keep from splits and breaks. Do you think that I might benefit from rebonding? Also do you know of a recommendable place here in Los Angeles that I should go to?

  After reading the forum, I think I shalt not rebond thy hair cos its rather dry. I have to hold it down with leave in moisturiser. I have been washing my hair with milk and treating with hot oil. I definitely see improvement in texture, softer now. However I have a question : How to cure the dry ends? I tried simple protein treatment before I dun see it can cure the ends.
  Another question: Dye or Highlight or none. I realise after about 6months the crown of the head has no color becos of hair growth. And becos of the dryness of my hair, what is advisable? Thanks you seems helpful!

  Hi, i just done my rebonding 4 days ago. Before rebonding, my hair was quite straight. The only thing is my hair is quite dry at the ends and i got a lot of frizzy hair. After rebonding, the 1st day is fine. After i washed my hair, the frizzy hair was back again! I done my rebonding in a quite well know salon. I am very sad.   i had done hair rebonding 3 mths ago and then rebond it a second time last tuesday(6rd of nov
  2001). what is the minimum period to allow the rebonding to wear off and allow the hair to
  recover before rebonding again?
  is the time interval slightly faster for me as i had done it within 3 months. do i need to wait after
  6 months before rebonding again??
  
  
  another problem, seriously!! i heard that the chemicals used in hair rebonding is quite
  strong,thus will hair rebonding damage or kill my hair scalp and follicles as i seemed to be
  dropping hairs after my second bonding, though from your opinion is the chemicals really strong
  to damage hair scalp and follicles?? is it safe?
  i had a phobia about dropping hair and is quite worried about it now! i am not sure whether i
  worried too much or not as the hairs seem okie sometimes.

  I seem to have a very sensitive skin. Whenever I remove the hair on my body , I get these tiny pus filled erruptions within a few days of the depilation . Earlier i thought it must be the wax, but the I face the same problem even while shaving or depilatory creams. I notice that these eruptions occur when the hair starts surfacing again . The problme is that these lead to itchiness and then blackening of the are.

  I did rebonding abt a month a ago. I want to go for treatment. Is there any specific treatment for rebonding that i should request for? Or is it just steaming the hair? Is steaming the hair a source of rebonding treatment? What are the various thing i should request or look out for when doing treatment?

  I want to do rebonding. But i am afraid it does not look nice or afraid it have side effects. Will rebonding damage my hair? i want to know which one is better? Rebond before dye or vice versa ? Will those neighbourhood shops do nice on my hair? are they trained to do rebonding ? Will it be safe to let them do ? Can someone do already tell me? I need the answer desperately! Thanks!

  Hmm another thing is that I have colored hair for a more than 6 months and the color had faded tremendously. My hair is also wavy and a little frizzie in the inner hair. My hair is flat around the scalp area but abit exploded near the ends. I gotta tie up my hair due this.
  
  I just wonder can I do rebonding with my faded colored hair? Will it causes any dryness or colored will fade even more??

  I had a rebonding recently, but the result was unsatisfactory. My hair does look straighter and manageable but its not as straight as it should be. I went back to the hairstylist and he agreed that the the result is not up to the stadard. He suggested to re-do the process for me, of course at not charge.
  My question is : Will it hurt my hair if I will to re-do the rebonding process within a short time span of less than 3 weeks.
  Your advice is appreciated.

  Hi, I met with a disaster and was wondering if u could help me solve it.I was too stingy with my money, so I went to a neighbourhood salon to have my hair rebonded.It costs less then $200 for my long hair.But never had i expected my hair to become wavy again!And it gets tangled up eveytime i wash my hair. Before I had my hair rebonded, it NEVER tangles!! Now, can u help me?? Is there such a thing as REBONDING TREATMENT which can help me restore the vitality and shine of my hair?? Though it is not as wavy and rough as it used to be, it is not as sleek as rebonded hair i saw.Pls help.

  When ever i shaved my legs and underarms using razors, both mt legs and underarms never seem to feel smooth. In fact, the pores are quite large and the hair are not entirely shaved off. How can i minimized the size of the pores and have smoother and beautiful legs and underarms?

  Hi! There's much talk about rebonding, but there are groups out there like myself where the hair is simply too short to do rebonding heh heh... my stylist says that the hair needs to be about 7 inches long before he can do rebonding. but then, it's like shoulder length already and for me, no way! :)
  So i guess I'd be permanently on relaxer if i want straighter hair. Other than using shampoo and conditioners with moisturising effects, what other things do pple like me have to take note of? thanks
