 Amen to that; juries won't even want to sit if the appeals courts can overturn their verdicts. Sounds to me like they're saying "Fieger needs to try the case OUR way", never mind if he's right and can convince a jury.

I always thought that lawyers were supposed to "reach" a jury emotionally; it's an emotional issue - a child born brain damaged - what more emotional issue can there be?

The thing is Geoff knows the law and he is gifted in presenting his client's case. He has done nothing wrong - somebody, somewhere needs to get this For-Caca appellate bunch of bozo's jerked into the present century.

Damn them.
