I don't feel that any ref 'can't cut it', they all have bad games like some good players who somtimes do not perform to their usual standards.

It seems to me that with the likes of Scott Murphy being promoted to NRL that the Tooheys League will lose their best officials to higher grades who have the time and desire to do so.

This isn't to suggest that those left over are sub-par refs, some have personal commitments that prevent them from officiating in Sydney.

We do need some injection of talent into grade to keep the incumbants honest, but as I rarely see any junior games I don't know if there is any potential out there.

Is there any refs anyone has seen in the juniors who you feel could make the step up?
