For now, angel, for now.

Startling green eyes opened with all the sparks of hell glittering in side, a slow smile twisting rose red lips into something of a villainous smirk. She was herself again, finally rid of the pesky familiar that had called herself Valenthe. No more, not again. Leathery red wings spread from her back, awakened as though a butterfly spreading corruption in morning's first light. Valenthe still lay where Fate had left her.

What an intricate web we weave.

Remarkably she could still remember all she had known as Rue, seen through Ariel, and given for a god. Aku would have been dissapointed...but not again. It felt good to be back.

She left before the dove ever awoke, leaving behind a token of what had been and what would be, blood red teardop crystalized on rose's petals.
