The spell of silence was more than annoying, it was downright rude to be stifled in such a way. Her other gifts, meager though they were, were good in their own right, but none of them helped her in this situation. Raising one hand to rest on her throat she hummed, feeling the muscles in her neck quiver in response. Grinning almost ferally, her good will and cheerful humor having evaporated some time ago she used her gift. Even though the music was muted it was still there, and her gift could work with it. Projecting weariness at both of the scaled monsters that dared treat a Bard in such a fashion, she was rewarded when they both seemed to droop. As the sparkling snake holding her grew tired the spell she had set began to weaken. Now her humming was barely audiable to her, which meant her gift could be used unfettered. The projection of weariness became one of irritablity and sleepiness, a combination that would make them want to land soon and sleep and cause them to snap at each other for the littlest things.

Reaching into her pack she pulled out the small pouch of stones she used on the rare occasion she used her sling and began to ping them at the snake that had twice captured her. That should cause some mischief at least.
