Navasota Raceway will remained closed for the month of January, We will reopen on Sun Febuary 5 2011 for Street racing an Test n Tune gates will open a 1:00 till.

Preliminary Schedule will be Sunday all the way through
April an Swithch over to Saturday nights Mid april.

Looking forward to hearing from some true 10.5 cars an big tire cars to get something going on a monthly basis.

Anyone have an ldea if they make a short starter for a 71' 302 w/ 4 sp man trans. l got burned for a set of tight tuck headers from a source in Sac. Ca and order a set of Southern Rods tight tuck headers. seemed like my biggest worry was stering box and linkage. All bueno on Driver side. Looked bitchen. Way good, oh chit, l dont have the starter in yet. Well, the one l purchased does not fit anyhow but do they make a shorter vs a longer starter? The one l have is internal solinoid. Hopeing a shorter one is avail w a external.

SPECIAL EVENTS:

Saturday Mar. 5th – Htownracing King of the South (KOTS) street race

BRACKET RACE PAYOUT:

Under 15 cars = $40 entry , $20 buy backs – pays 1st and 2nd place, $175/$75 ($250 purse)
15 car minimum = $40 entry, $20 buy backs – pays 1st, 2nd and semi’s, $250/$125/$50 ($475 purse)
25 car minimum = $40 entry, $20 buy backs - pays 1st, 2nd and semi’s, $500/$200/$75 ($850 purse)
End of year track points champion and points runner up will receive a one time bonus of $1000/$250 ($1250 purse)

STREET RACE PAYOUT:
8 car minimum = $30 entry, $15 buy backs - pays 1st and 2nd place, 125/50 ($175 purse)
16 car minimum = $30 entry, $15 buy backs - pays 1st, 2nd and semi’s, 200/100/30 ($360 purse)
If street class doesn't have a minimum of 8 entries then they can either pay $10 more to run with bracket cars or get $10 back and only T&T

I guess i have been banned from the newwebsite again , i said something about auto promods being at hmp lastweekend and the super chevy show at hrp sat and sun and it was deleted sorry if i step on any toe's but there is no talk on the website , thought i would say something ,if you don't advertise a race you ain't going to get no cars ,are spectators i'm not going out there to watch 5 to 10 cars bracket race for cump change that don't pay for what we spent, hell you can take a family car to the race and beat a 75000.00 hot rod, so why build a hotrod to let it set in the garage like i have done all year long not a single race this year. SORRY to bitch but ya'll have to change things out there are you are not going to make it work , itried to help ya'll out and we had some bad words , but the truth is the truth, it's not going to work the way ya'll are doing things. June 19th - ProMod Results -- Richard Magnus, Tue, Jun 22 2010, 19:56:48 2010MT-6

Congratulations to CONRAD IGOSIAC for taking 1st place in the ProMod event this past Saturday night. Also, congratulations to Randy Rencher and "Money Shot" for taking runner up. They both had passes in the 4.70's at 150 mph.

It was a good night for the track. The Promods were hooking up and hauling ass. Most of their passes were in the 4's. They were moving down the track a lot straighter than the last time they were here. I wanna give a THANK YOU to Randy and TAO for coming out, and we hope to have them out again later this year. I also wanna give a "good job" to Thomas for the extra work he did on the track towards the big end to put some rubber down and get em hooking up down the whole track. Good job lil brother.

We didn't have enough cars to make any of the Index Races so......the drivers agreed to run a Bracket Race instead......

Texas Automatic Outlaws (autopromods.com) from the Dallas area will be coming down to have a Quick 8 Pro Mod race. This is not an open Pro Mod race, it's only for the guys in their group. However, anyone else with a Pro Mod is welcome to come out and Test n Tune for free.

(FYI, Donnie had to buy back in after a 1st round loss !!)

We had 19 cars sign up for the Bracket Race, the most we have ever had. So THANK YOU to everyone for coming out. And with the 1st round buyback, we pretty much had to start over after one round.

We were short handed on track personnell this weekend, so I would really like to thank everyone that pitched in to help out from putting water in the box to grabbing a mop and mopping the track, to passing out time slips when someone was at the window. It was a long day for me and Thomas and by the end of the night, we were exhausted. We never really had to ask anyone for help, but noticed everytime we were in a bind, trying to do multiple things at once, there was always someone there to help out. Again, we really appreciate everyone that pitched in to help, and everyone else for understanding we were doing all we could to keep things going as smooth as we could.

We are racing as scheduled. I was at the track today doing some mowing and weedeating and it was a little wet in some places. By the time I left at 7pm, the standing water was gone. There were still a few soft spots, but I think they will be dry by the time gates open. Hope to see everyone tomorrow.

Hey Zack the race at San Atonio has been cancelled. Sounds like the AHRA did not get off to a good start. Hate to hear that do to it being the first santioned racing organzation in the U.S.. We were headed that way also and I got the email yesterday telling me the bad news.

Classes 5.80, 6.20, 6.60, 7.0, 7.40
Gates open at 4pm, Qualifying/test-n-tune from 5-7pm, index races start at 7:30pm.
SLICK ONLY - for Index & Test n Tune

$10 Gate fee (children 12 and under free)
$10 Tech card for Test-n-Tune


$60 entry (includes driver gate fee)
Payout per class (10 car minimum)
1st Place - $500
2nd Place - $200
Less than 10 cars - 70/30 Split

I would like to post something on the new website but i am still not allowed to post , reply , edit , delete NOTHING-- if there is still a problem PLEASE let me know--- i talked to all of ya'll at the track several weeks ago and you all said everything was good ,newyear let bygones be bygones , so why am i still banned on the new website, i havenot raced my car in 6 months , would like to come out and race . I have a 1957 chevy belair that I am wanting to convert from drum to disk breaks and I am wanting to know what other years of cars that I can get ALL the parts from that will fit onto the bel air?????

We will be doing BRACKET RACING and Test n Tune.
Gates open at 4pm. Track open 5pm. Bracket race starts at 7:30pm.

The Bracket Race will be starting at 7:30pm.
Bracket Race - $10 Gate Fee, $30 to enter
RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG, you wanna race it, pay your entry!!

No electronics - unless there are enough cars to have 2 classes.

Test-n-Tune
Gate fee $10. Tech card $10. All cars, trucks and bikes welcome. Street and race.
