We will be closed this weekend, June 27-28. We will re-open Saturday July 4th. Test-n-Tune. Gates open at 5pm, track open 6-10pm. Gate fee $10, Tech card $10.
July 11th, Saturday Night Index Races. Gates open at 4pm. Qualify/T-n-T 5-7pm, Index Races start at 7pm. Please come and support the local track!!

Walter stegmann of sommerville tx. in his 56 ford pickup won the 7.40 class. Bobby Woods of Lyons tx. in his john deere green 92 s-10 won 7.00 class. we didn't have enough cars for any other classes. bvsb had there club picnic at the track,thanks everyone for coming out we really appreciate yall. larry

Gates open at 9am, Qualifying/test-n-tune from 10am till noon, index races start at 1pm.
Jackpot races - $40 to enter ($20-gate fee/tech card & $20 towards jackpot)
The more cars per class, the bigger the jackpot!!
You must make at least one pass during qualifying time. Registration for the index races will close at 11:15. This will insure there is time to get your pass in.
Door Cars Only.
Any Combinations Allowed at any Weight.
No Throttle Stops Allowed in Car.
No Delay Boxes Allowed in Car.
Any devices which apply to the electronic timing keyed to the christmas tree lighting system itself-that are not connected by relay or otherwise so as to automatically activates any devices on the car necessary to place the car in motion at the start of a race are PROHIBITED
No Deep Staging.
.400 Pro Tree for All Index Classes.
Times Will Be Posted.
There are No Time Trials once qualifying begins
Eliminations are All Run.
#1 Qualifier to Receive Bye Run if Odd # of Cars in 1st Round.
Competitors will be paired up with lane assignments by card draw.
If Double Breakout - Car Breaking Out the Least Wins.
Courtesy Staging is in effect.
No Racing Radios at all (Voted against by Drivers Oct. 20, 2007)
Nitrous Controllers are allowed for controlling the nitrous only.
No street tires
We are currently looking for a sponsor to make the pot a little bigger, but no guarantees.
Test-n-tuners welcome, but passes will be limited once index starts. Will be able to do passes between rounds.

i can not find the operating hours on the website anywhere. even under calendar, i clicked on sat & sundays of several weekends and na-da! it would be helpful if the regular hours of operation were on the home page, as well as a listing of any other event that may be happening. Track def. needs to do some advertising to let ppl know what is going on and for sure, WHEN!

I am sorry to say the toy will be out of commission for awhile. The rocker arm on #8 slid off the valve and did damage to the valve.When the intake was removed water was found in the oil and a crack between one and three cylinders was found, so a new block will be needed as well as changing out the rocker :)I found a 400 but I may need to go to 40 over which I will have to change out the pistons.any body have a rich uncle ha ha.

these are L98 center bolt heads and I just picked them up from the machine shop today. They are ported and flow about 260 cfm on the intake side. They have studs and guide plates and springs are for a hyd roller up to .550" lift. I will take $600 for them.
I also have a victor jr. intake that is port matched to these heads. $125
plus these parts.
billet center bolt valve covers $75
5.7 rods polished with arp rod bolts $75
hyd roller cam for sbc w/ lifters $150
stock 350 crank $50
stock 400 crank $50

If you start to run index racing we will be there. I used to run at the track a lot from the first days it was open. We run the 6.20 index and there are a lot of cars out there from the 5.80s on down to the 7.00s that would love to have another place to race. If we can get some sponcers on board for a decent pot you will get a decent car count for sure. I used to throw in a couple of hundred a race back in the pro gas days and could do that again.
