Let's have a BBQ , somebody have a pit they can bring to the track sunday, I will buy and cook the brisket, red bean's the best you have eaten in a long time i PROMISE YOU somebody bring potato salad, bread , please reply ASAP on the pit , i can cook it at home sat night and bring if no pit Zack cook,picture taker,trackwoker,spectator,race fan,o yea i do have a race car LOL ESTER Larry & Mitch is this OK if I cook at the track for ya'll.

hey zack that would be great if you cooked, I have a pit at the track. we will be at the track sat. and sun. working on the wall. I have a nail gun and compressor and I have about 130 pieces of plywood. If anyone wants to donate some plywood or sell some cheap it would sure be appreciated. thanks larry

Howdy there green truck. I have been working on the mower for next round. We are always at the track on Sat. working,and Sun. is hit and miss. This coming weekend looks to be a two days of work if Dolly by passes us??? We will be working on the WALL. We will keep everyone posted on what it looks like after Dolly departs. Mitch do you work at track on sundays. i sure like to come and help all i can. i am trying to make plans on beening there on saturday to help but not sure. Also do you know if you going to be IHRA OR NHRA track. we need a good clean track to just have fun at. Grudge racing is ok and fun i will run anyone but not for $$$$$ just fun. We are still under the construsion mode for probly the next three weeks. We all have daily jobs and familys to feed so it makes us weekend warriors. when we start putting the wall up we will need some help since we have to go 24ft. high. keep watching the web site and we will post up when we are ready.. Hello to everyone -- Dr. Hook, Fri, Jul 11 2008, 20:13:03 2008MT-6

It has been quite on here but far from it at the track. Tommorrow we will be installing the new communacation cables at the track. 5 will go under the track and 1 all the way down the side and to both score boards, and it all goes in conduit so if you want to get a good work out in 100 degree heat and maybe loose a couple of pounds come on out. I will be there at day light to bet the heat. But we are getting there and we are all ready so see the lights come on and see some passes. We do apprecate everyone's help and checking in on us.See You Soon... Mitch

Larry-I have no clue what you have repaired or checked out as to the light system. There were issues when the track was in operation with the Tree plug and it was sensitive back then since the box behind the tree wasn't water proof t. Wiring from tree to start line needed replacing way back. The start line box should be OK but I would check it out also if it hasn't been done I talked with Mike Laurendine who operated the tree and line controls and he says you should replace those lines from the tree to the line also.
