There is no place to register on your main website forum. In fact, at the very bottom of the forum, it shows the forum is "locked."
I spoke to Larry's wife on the phone today and made her aware of these issues and she said she would notify Larry.
She is the one that gave me this website and forum to use.

So I guess my questions are: (1) Are you going to use the other Navasota Forum? (2) Will there be a place to register so we can post? (3) Will it be unlocked? I suppose unlocking will open up the forum for registration?

I and a couple other friends are interested in your index racing. Possibly 5.80, 6.0, and/or 6.20. We have delay boxes hard-wired in our cars because we still compete in bracket racing. If you don't use a throttle stop, I can't understand why a racer would not be allowed to keep his delay box in his car. It would only be used for the transbrake and transmission shifting. Both cars leave on a .400 tree. Can delay boxes be allowed at your track if the tech inspector sees there is no throttle stop? I mean NO THROTTLE STOP, not disconnected linkages and solenoids.

After everyone runs qualifying, you only take the top 8 or top 16 to be in the elimination bracket.....

Texas Auto ProMods (autopromods.com) from the Dallas area will be coming down to have a Quick 16 Pro Mod race. This is not an open Pro Mod race, it's only for the guys in their group. However, anyone else with a Pro Mod is welcome to come out and Test n Tune for free.

Test n Tune is ONLY open for cars/trucks with SLICKS. No street tires will be allowed during this event. Tech card for Test n Tune $5 for this event...........

Gates open at 4pm, track opens for Test n Tune at 5pm. Qualifying for Pro Mods start at 6pm, Eliminations at 8pm. Test n Tune will be run between rounds of qualifying and eliminations.

Gate fee $15 adults, kids 12/under free.

Do you have to be a memeber of the Texas ProMod Outlaw Association to compete in this race. Got a 63 split window vette; tube chassis 25.1E cdertified. Turbo Car; Running XTF in the ADRL this year. Would like to come out and join you next Saturday; tell me what I need to do and I will try and get it done.

Randy, Texas Automatic Outlaws are the ones that putting on this event and it is just for their members. Navasota Raceway will be hosting its 1st Annual Rod Run and Swap Meet, 8am -5pm. Come out and see the cool street cars, race cars and the good ol' classics. Everyone is welcome.

There will be no gate charges or booth charges for the swap meet. Bring your table and all the parts you are looking to get rid of.

If you have any used drag tires to get rid, we are in need of them for dragging the track.

We will be serving hot dogs and hamburgers.

Vernon Brunker Update -- Richard Magnus, Sun, Nov 15 2009, 11:13:58 2009MT-6

Vernon Brunker has been released from the hospital and made it home around 4am. He has some road rash and had to get ten stitches.

Vernon comes out to the track almost every weekend on his maroon Suzuki Hayabusa. Sat night after he crossed the finish line during test-n-tune, he went down. He was going over 100mph when it happened. He was knocked out for a while and as a precautionary call from the medical crew was airlifted to Herman Hospital downtown. Before he left the track he was conscience but not sure of who or where he was.

He stated this morning that he is not through racing and will be back to the track soon.

I would like to give a big thank you to the ambulance crew for keeping the situation under control. I would also like to thank Robert and the other guys that helped get Vernons bike loaded and off the track. They also got all of his personal belonging together and unhooked the trailer from the vehicle so Vernons wife could take the car to hospital. THANK YOU so much for the help. And thanks to everyone for staying away from the crash site so we could get it taken care of.

You cut your tire down in the water box , sorry to here you blew out a tire ,hope the damage was light , maybe what you won will pay for the damage, navasota track is unsafe to race at i will never go there again

Zach, Zach, Zach......Craig and his crew gave the possible reasons for what happened. They were on OLD tires and they had too much power for them. It ripped the side wall off the tire where they screwed the wheel onto it. The waterbox was taken care of. Let me ask you this. Was the track "unsafe" when you were getting to race for free, or when you won the index? You were a happy guy then if I recall correctly. I'm not gonna do this with you. You post your side of the story on all the websites. And if you wanna bring God and "lying" into this, I don't think He has gossip high on His list either. You and Barb take care. I wish nothing but the best for you and her.

i was there and the tire was not cut in the water box. i personally heard the drive and crew say more then once that it wasnt the track. even after the oil down from the blown motor there were passes in the 4 sec range. sounds to me like they must be doing something good. this was my first time at the track and i will be back for sure. things are going to go wrong at any track. hmp had several wrecks the other night. does that make them unsafe??? no it doesnt. again stuff happens!!

I have never heard of a tire getting cut during a burnout that was due to the track. It is very much more likely that the car was not set up properly for the tire size and that normal car body movement may have caused a cut tire. Again, not a track problem. More of a car owner problem with their own car.

Sept 19th - $1000 Bounty Race & Index Races -- Richard Magnus, Tue, Sep 08 2009, 8:05:54 2009MT-6

Gates open at 5pm, Qualifying/test-n-tune from 6-8pm, index races start at 8pm.
$10 Gate fee (children 12 and under free)
$10 Tech card for Test-n-Tune

Bounty Race ..........
$1000 will be paid to the fastest pass of the night under 5.00 from 8pm - 11pm
$10 gate fee - $30 entry fee
No restrictions, have the fastest pass, win the $1000 !!!
Make as many passes as you want, all times will be displayed.

Index Races ..........
Classes - 5.80, 6.00, 6.50, 7.00, 7.40, 8.00

$60 entry (includes driver gate fee) 100% payout winner take all
Navasota Raceway will add $100 to each payout

MUST BE AT LEAST 4 CARS TO RUN CLASS !!!

You must make at least one pass during qualifying time.

Door Cars Only.
Any Combinations Allowed at any Weight.
No Throttle Stops Allowed in Car.
No Delay Boxes Allowed in Car.
Any devices which apply to the electronic timing keyed to the christmas tree lighting system itself-that are not connected by relay or otherwise so as to automatically activates any devices on the car necessary to place the car in motion at the start of a race are PROHIBITED
No Deep Staging.
.400 Pro Tree for All Index Classes.
Times Will Be Posted.
There are No Time Trials once qualifying begins
Eliminations are All Run.
#1 Qualifier to Receive Bye Run if Odd # of Cars in 1st Round.

Thanks to everyone for showing up and being patient during the 2 delays we had due to each lane getting oiled down to about the 330 marker. We still got everything finished around 11pm, but there was about an hour or so down time while we cleaned and re-prepped the track.....

Contact the Texas A&M car club and inform them your opening a special night for them to run.Use to run on Wednesday night 7 till 12:00

Set up rules for a real old fashion backhalf class-and a purse with guarantee of x number of dollars with x number of cars with the Battle of the Backhalf's.Many old style backhalf still out there.

along with this run a solid index race-adjust the index to conform to the slower cars--you got more slow that fast index cars.

This is a good place to start and eliminate the day time crap as its to hot period.Action at the Nasty really starts at 10:00 pm or so and always did with the grudge races.

We will be closed this weekend, June 27-28. We will re-open Saturday July 4th. Test-n-Tune. Gates open at 5pm, track open 6-10pm. Gate fee $10, Tech card $10.

July 11th, Saturday Night Index Races. Gates open at 4pm. Qualify/T-n-T 5-7pm, Index Races start at 7pm. Please come and support the local track!!

Gates open at 9am, Qualifying/test-n-tune from 10am till noon, index races start at 1pm.
Jackpot races - $40 to enter ($20-gate fee/tech card & $20 towards jackpot)
The more cars per class, the bigger the jackpot!!

You must make at least one pass during qualifying time. Registration for the index races will close at 11:15. This will insure there is time to get your pass in.

i can not find the operating hours on the website anywhere. even under calendar, i clicked on sat & sundays of several weekends and na-da! it would be helpful if the regular hours of operation were on the home page, as well as a listing of any other event that may be happening. Track def. needs to do some advertising to let ppl know what is going on and for sure, WHEN!
Can someone give a gal some info? I would have soooo been there by now had i known; i've been searching for the hours for 2 weeks now!

When did you register? Today at 2:14pm? I had to change the registration process due to being hit by spammers. If you try to login with the information you provided when you registered you should be able to.
