] Date Posted: 21:30:47 07/15/06 Sat In reply to: Kuro Maata 's message, "You rang?" on 21:11:46 07/15/06 Sat He had just begun to read the same paragraph for the third time, in hopes that this time he would remember reading it, when he sensed Kuro's approach. He didn't put the book down, but instead allowed her to sidle up to him. With a casual hand, he stroked her back as he supported the book in his other. "Kuro, Gordon taught you to read, did he not?" Nevermind that he didn't actually answer her implied question. He was in a bit of a daydreaming mood, and it was one of those times when it would be difficult for a sledgehammer and a silver knife to get through his thick mentality on things. He didn't wait for her answer, but continued on instead. "Have you ever picked up any of the books around here? Horrible things, these ones. There used to be some worth reading, but all this modern literature is a bunch of words jumbled together like incessant whining." Dorjan set the book aside with a certain care, despite his talk, and concentrated more on stroking her back. "I promised you dinner." He smiled then, as he spoke, himself back to being where he was supposed to be. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

Date Posted: 10:34:52 07/16/06 Sun Kuro purred deep and long for her new vampire Master. She didn't respond to his small rant on literature. In reality, she preferred the classics to anything modern. Although, Shakespeare was probably modern to Dorjan. Perhaps she could re-invoke his love for books. But, that was later. First, dinner. "You did promise me dinner. Not to be out of line, Master, but it's 11 in the morning." The shifter snuggled closer to the vampire's heat-soaked body. It had been a while since she'd enjoyed the company of someone so warm. But, it was just an illusion. Without the fresh flowing blood of one living, Kuro knew the vampire was just another cold corpse. She tried to push it from her mind as her body reacted to touch. Places low in her body became tight with anticipation. Her primal instincts told her how this would end, and she liked it. She liked it a lot. |

Date Posted: 10:50:43 07/16/06 Sun .. He chuckled lightly, his gaze rising once more to stare at the setting sun. It would be down completely within another half hour, and the courtyard would be bathed in moonlight. It wasn't quite a full moon tonight, but large enough to satisfy even a human's weak eyes. His hand still absently stroked up and down her spine for another few moments before he draped it over her back. "I wasn't entirely sure what you preferred more - raw or cooked. There's a fair amount of both, of course, and some choice salmon cuts in case fish is something you fancy more." He didn't bother to point the things out, though his attention was at least back on her. .. |

Date Posted: 11:32:52 07/16/06 Sun It was nice to know that she could still entertain her Master. But, there just wasn't the same connection as there was with Gordon. With her previous owner, Kuro would have done anything for. It wasn't that she wouldn't for Dorjan, but it was Gordon who she loved, feared, admired, and took comfort from. She missed him and the memories of sleeping in the rainforest together. There just wasn't that exotic factor while she was domesticated. The jaguar shifter missed the adventure of waking up in the middle of a net hundreds of feet above the forest floor. When Dorjan's attention was on other things, she was enraptured by him. And it was probably true the other way around. Now, she thought of her old home and longed for something new. But, she snapped to. "Master, I'm sorry, but I think that dinner will have to wait. Shall we...retire early and have food later?" |
