A low breath escaped her lips as she rested her cheek against his hand, closing her eyes for a long moment as she just rested against his touch that was so familiar and warm. "What about your ledgers? Who is going to take care of the keep while you are babysitting me out there?" She questioned softly, her brow furrowed even as she tipped his face up to invite his kiss. They were getting much better at talking things through instead of just getting angry and even then, as she rested her forehead to his and covered his hand on her belly, she wasn't getting angry. Instead, tears were starting to well up in her eyes and she was shifting to cuddle closer to him. "I am going to miss our home and Evie and Durgan and..and Heather and the whelps and even Kaden..." She whimpered softly as she rested her cheek against her mate's chest, her long lashes closing over the tear filled blue depths, though the glistening moisture was apparant on her black lashes resting against her cheek. "I want to be able to lay in bed with you and have a hot shower whenever I want one." She just couldn't picture this perfect get away that her mate was explaining to her, all she was picturing was isolation in the cold, dark woods. She wasn't even such a big fan of the dark, she would match rather just stay in the warmth of their palace and play with him all day long. "And...so you are going to be gone the whole time before I have to change?" She questioned, her brow furrowed gently as she thought about not even having any time left to spend with him in their human forms. Well, of course, he could still shift back and forth but it just wasn't the same.
