Her eyes widened just a touch as she caught sight of the food he was bringing over to her, her tongue peeking out in anticipation. "Oooh, that smells good, Dane!" Obviously, she got very excited about food and as she shifted to lean more on her side, she realized she was actually quite a bit more comfortable in this food. Her head snaked around to nudge at her belly, easing the eggs into more comfortable positions before she leaned down to nibble on the meat in front of her. Once she realized that it was indeed as delicious as it smelled, she quickly dug in, every once in awhile reaching over to nuzzle her cheek against his neck. "Eat with me? I'm getting full, I promise." She wanted him to gain his weight back, she was near to giving birth to their young and he was still thin from their mating. It worried her. As if to push him into eating right then, she nipped lightly at his neck, smiling a touch as she pulled back to continue eating. Keeping her body close to his, curved into the warmth of him, she ate until she was completely full and then let out a soft breath of contentment, laying her head down against his foreleg instead of her own this time. Her eyes were on the thick, large nest that she had yet to explore but she was so tired all the sudden and her head was aching and she wasn't up to moving in the least. "Hmm? Oh. Yeah, I am ok. Just have a bit of a headache is all. I've been getting them a lot recently." She had never really told him that because they were just minor nuisances and he had been so busy and stuff that she hadn't wanted to seem like a big wimpy complainer. It seemed everyone was always saying how strong and tough dragon women were and she wanted to fit in just like everyone else. She was sick of everyone looking at her like the weak, pitiful little american human who got so lucky as to bag the laird. She wasn't blind, she saw how some of the women in the clan still looked at her. Even though they had husbands already, it was still easy to see that they lusted after her mate and disliked her because of that. Sometimes, when they were whispering and glaring at her she wanted to scream that she hadn't choosen to go with Dane, that he had swooped out of the sky and stolen her from her field but now he was her's and they should just get the hell over it. With a soft sigh, she nuzzled closer to him, closing her eyes.
