She nodded just a touch before she shifted so she could tuck her head beneath his wing, letting out a soft breath against his scales. More then anything, she wanted to just admire their wee eggs with him but she was so damn tired and sore that she was about to succumb to the oblivion that was calling to her. As her head rested against her mates side, she closed her eyes and allowed the darkness to call to her, dragging into an unconscious state of being just as Durgan lit upon the scene. Obviously, he had been hovering nearby, just in case his brother needed him. He hadn't even told Dane yet that his own mate was expecting but it just showed the amount of love he had for his brother that he had been leaving her behind at the keep regularly so he could fly over the air of the nesting sight, just watching over the pair and regulating Bree for the past few months. It had been this week that he had started to get worried, seeing the way she was deteriating fast in her condition. Shaking out his wings, he folded them in and headed towards the nest - his head bowed in a submissive position until he was sure Dane was ok with him being near the brand new whelps. A grin crossed his face as he came closer to his brother, his eyes bright and excited. "Congratulations brethair." He murmured softly, so not to disturb anyone who might be sleeping. Before he checked on the whelps, he was most concerned about Bree and so promptly turned to her, his eyes turning a shade darker as he took in the fact that she was now unconscious. A low breath escaped his lips as he came forward, nudging her neck gently to feel her pulse before he closed his eyes and delved deeper into her being to examine her further. "Tis a good thing ye cauterized the tears inside of her, she could have easily bled out from them. There's pretty extensive damage done to her..." He pursed his lips, pausing a moment. "...woman parts and will be a while before that is healed." Pulling himself out of his examining state, he shrugged softly. "She's tired, very tired, her body is drained of energy. Twill be awhile till she is strong enough to do much at all. We will just have to keep a close eye on her, aye? Encourage her to keep fighting for the sake of her bairns." He had warned his brother many, many times that there was a possibility of serious consequances to having the bairns while Bree was so young. With all he could do for Bree accomplished, he instead turned his attention to the four eggs. This time, a bright smile crossed his face as he gave his focus to each one in turn before looking back to his brother. "Aye, they are all perfectly healthy."
