(He sighed with relief as she spoke to him finally, feeling overwhelmingly more at ease upon seeing the color of her eyes once again. For a while there he had been pretty sure he was going to have to call upon Durgan early. He lifted his head to the sky and roared, breaking the silence with a cry of joy, that he had a family now.. and that all were well. Gently he moved the eggs to her side, tucking them carefully against her and making sure the tiniest was tucked under her its clutchmates for warmth. Then he stretched out on the other side of them, his wing moving over his family to shelter them. He watched with pride as she nuzzled the bairns, purring his approval before nuzzling her cheek as she laid her head down.) I am so verra proud of ye, lass.. (He murmured to her, licking her cheek gently before taking a closer look at his offspring. It would be another month before they came out of their eggs, but they were in plain sight now. Her soft statement made him nod, and he reached out in his mind for his brother, telling him that the eggs were safely born, and that he needed him to check on his mate and the whelps before he could allow Bree to take her rest.) We will remain here for the evening, and when ye've gained sufficient strength to fly or make the change we will return to the keep. No sense in keepin ye out here in the cold, when we can alternate warming the eggs in the safety of our chambers. (The room they shared in his keep was large enough, with vaulted cielings, that they could be in dragon form inside - or at least she could. Dane could do so on the balcony, being a much larger dragon than she. They might have to move some furniture around to accomodate him, but they would manage. He was sniffing and licking the eggs when she spoke in his mind a few moments later, and he smirked.) Aye, I dinna think I could survive any more.. (He teased, the tip of his tail finding hers and curling around it.)
