(He had loitered for a few moments directly outside the door to the great hall, gazing out at the highland mountains that bordered Caithness and kept Zidane's lands hidden from humans. The fact that his jaw was so tight that his muscles ticked with annoyance showed just how agitated he was. He wasn't that type of man to pace or fret outloud, he was just find standing in that spot, his unease shining in his eyes and amplified by the tension in his stance. He was unsure of this.. unsure of what it would be like to see Zidane again.. because his friend had changed so much upon gaining his freedom. Liam the dragon had been a lovable soul.. a fatherly sort of creature who had protected him and kept him company, healing his wounds in the night when he had been tortured. But Zidane.. he was a haughty, egotistical and arrogant bastard. He had gained his freedom, kidnapped a woman and left for the high hills. There was no - 'hey, would ye care to visit?' sort of thing.. no, he just left. And now he wanted to renew their blood bond? Disregarding the slightly important fact that they would both die without renewing said bond, wasn't it just a little presumptuous? Bree's flash of white smokey light caught his attention and a ball of nerves settled in his stomach as he contemplated the flight ahead.. he ahd never appreciated flying. If man were meant to fly, he mused, the good Lord would have given him wings. It was Kerri's soft touch and qestioning look that had him shrugging off his foul mood and offering her his arm. He had to anticipate the worst even if he wanted to hope for the best.. who wouldnt want their best friend back? As they stopped between the two dragons, he glanced back and forth between them, trying to figure out how best to work this. He wasn't all that keen on handing his fiance to another man who could easily fly off with her.. but he was a lot heavier for a young dragon to handle. He saw the way the young male growled, and decided to take his chances.) Kerri-lass, ye will go with Bree, aye? (He nodded towards the woman, who had turned into the most brilliant creature he had ever laid eyes on.. and was more than eager to have some time to get a better look at during the daylight. He helped Kerri get herself settled before approaching the blue dragon.) I willna toss on ye if ye promise nay to pull anything stupid, aye? (He had been a young man once and knew that stupid ideas could take root in a young man's brain with the ease of weeds.. and he was not in the mood for barrel rolls or skydiving.. not at all. He waited until the dragon offered him a position between his wings, then settled himself for the flight, taking a rare moment to cross himself in the old catholic tradition.)
