She carefully lowered her head so the girl could situated on her back before she watched Arric. Before long, wasting no time, she took off into the air as she had seen Durgan do - at a complete stand still. She pushed her body to the complete limit of her perservence to keep going. A few times she almost faltered but she caught Tiernan watching her as if to make sure the girl was safe and she kept her balance. By the time that they saw Lallybroch she was shaking and barely able to flap her wings, relying instead on wind gusts to propel her along. She groaned when she saw the balcony, nodding to Arric. "Finally." She groaned softly, shifting to go in for a landing. She managed, somehow, to let herself land gently and let Kerri crawl off of her before she shifted to her human form. She looked tired and drawn, shaky and just absolutely worn out. Arric looked a little worried that Dane might take a hunk out of him but Bree just shrugged off his concerns and stepped into the bedroom to see how Dane was doing. Durgan was sitting in the chair across from the bed but she ignored that, instead heading directly to the bed to sit down next to him. All she wanted to do was collapse somewhere until she stopped aching, until her muscles stopped screaming at her, until she felt like she could move without being in pain. Her eyes dropped down to her mate, gazing at his face. She just wanted to make sure he was ok. "I got Tiernan, he's here with Kerri, just on the balcony..." She murmured softly as she gaze down at him, unsure if he was even awake or what. A low breath escaped her lips as she lifted a trembling hand to his cheek, wanting to touch him, to make sure he was warm and soft and comfortable. A low breath escaped her lips as she forced herself not to just collapse next to him. He was the one who was sick, not her, she needed to just hold it together.
