(It was the tone of her voice that soothed instead of excited him, reining in the beast that was clawing at him to take over. It built to an exquisite height, until he thought perhaps he would never find his climax.. but then she had cried out and clutched at his body.. and the rippling draw of her body agiainst his made him cry out as well. It was not his typical roar of completion.. this was the strangled cry of a surprised male, unable to comprehend what had just happened to him. The muscles in his back corded and tightened as his body released within her, and for a moment he was suspended there, arched in an almost painful tension before it suddenly released him into the brainless convulsions of orgasm. He held himself just off her, his lips pressed to her shoulder and his heart thundering in his ears.. incapable of thinking or reacting for at least a few more minutes.)
