The climax that he brought out of her left her limp and breathless, her eyes closed, her chest heaving as she attempted to catch her breath. Maybe, just possibly, her favorite part out of the whole joining had been the suprised cry that he admitted while he spent himself with in her. More than anything else, she loved it when they found their release together, it seemed to truly bond them together as one being. It took a few long moments before she was even strong enough to lift her hand but when she finally did, she ran her fingers over his shoulder and then just twisted her fingers into his hair, her own head tipped back as she caught her breath. Never before in her life had she felt something so emotionally and physically intense, so touching and...comforting. The thought of the horror of the day was gone from her mind and all she could concentrate on right then was the strong, handsome, virile man who was currently resting in the cradle of her hips. This position left her vulnerable, he could easily take a chunk out of her neck, snap her bones from where his larger form was on top of her but she trusted him immensely. It was mind boggling to her that just over a few months ago she was in American and then she had been here in Scotland with no home, no friends, completely and totally alone. Now, here she was, mated to the most magnifacent, powerful, beautiful Laird dragon and she was going to have his bairns. It was amazing to think how life could change in such a short amount of time. Squeezing her eyes shut, knowing her mate was uncomfortable with displays of emotion, she just ducked her head into his chest and held him tight, still cradled into her body. Even long minutes after their lovemaking had ended in their climaxes, she was still unwilling to let him go.
