Then, if ye insist on letting her roam free, ye need to work with her, Dane. She hasnae learned a thing on how to control her powers since she has been here, only how to gain new ones. Did ye see her playing with the water in the fountain earlier? She was making it into shapes in the air. She willnae bother ye during the day when she thinks ye may be working but yer work, Dane, needs to be training her on how to deal with her powers and her dragon's reactions. Ye cannae be coddling her, she needs to be intensely trained, like ye were training a soldier to defend the keep. She needs to understand what her abilities are and understand the consequences of them. He sighed deeply yet again, shaking his head with a furrowed brow. Mayhap if the lass does love ye, she would be more willing to listen to yer instructions. I am telling ye though, ye have to focus on this. Nay shoo'ing her off when she gets on yer nerves, and ye ken that she will. Ye cannae be around her more than an hour without her getting under yer skin. With that, he stood up, raking his hand through his hair as he looked down at his brother for a moment before finally the medic/healer in him came out. How was she when she woke up? She has woken up, hasnae she? He wanted to make sure she was healthy and there was no fall out from his healings. It took a lot out of him - in fact, the only thing that made it so that he wasn't passing out right now was the fact he had claimed his mate - it was obvious that Dane was distracted because he hadn't even commented on the fact that his brother was fully mated now.
