Her eyes widened a bit as the brush appeared out of no where and then even more so when he snapped at the young maid. She offered the girl a slight, grateful smile before she looked back to him. Her brow furrowed a little as she let out a soft breath and shifted to go in front of him, sitting down cross legged between his legs. "Will you brush my hair? It's hard for me to reach it all and there are a lot of tangles." She wasn't so good at the whole, comforting people thing but there was something wrong with him and it made her sad and a bit uncomfortable, not for her own sake but for his. She knew that brushing her hair always soothed her with it's steady monotony and she hoped it would do the same to him. Patiently, she waited to see if he would accept her offer and spoke while she did so. "What's your name?" She questioned, realizing that she didn't even know that much about him. "My mother always said that you could tell a lot by a person by their name. She said that a name said a lot about a person without going into detail, that you could tell what kind of person may be lurking behind that name just by hearing it." She smiled wistfully, a soft sigh escaping her parted lips. She missed her mother terribly and while she would never want to stop thinking about her, it just reminded her how much she had lost whenever her mothers wisdom, laughter or anything about her really, crossed her mind. She shifted, leaning back a little so it would be easier for him to reach all her long, thick hair, that was, if he chose to do so.
