(He shook his head, displeasure in his eyes as his brother retreated.) Ye are my family, Kaden. (He said back even as he trumpeted the sound of displeasure back at his brother's retreating form. He wanted to follow Kaden, to ask him to stay.. but his brother was already fading into the distance and once again he allowed his indecision to rule him. Sighing deeply, he was startled to find bandages appearing over his chest, where the deeper cuts were located. He furrowed his brow, looking towards the black dragon, then to his brother as Durgan spoke. I dinnae ken.. he ne'er said a word about it.. but then I didnae really offer him the chance to talk to me either, did I. His sadness was evident over their link as well, and as Anya turned and rocketed after Kaden he too turned and started heading for Lallybroch. We cannae allow this, Durgan.. the lad is family.. he should be here. He was grumbling as he flew, guilt and anger storming inside him as he came into land and changed forms on the balcony to his rooms. He stalked into the room and examined what were now deep slashes on his chest in human form. Bluidy minx tore me up. He reached out for Bree next and told her that it was all clear, they could come out of hiding now. Now all they had to do was figure out what had happened to make Kaden shift colors.. and how to bring him home, or at least to make peace with him. He had never meant to alienate his brother, not a bit.. but it seemed it was too late for that now, the mistake had been made and the rift was there. Perhaps the lasses would know how to work this delicate situation, if he could get over his pride to solicite help from them.) (She took chase after a moment of stunned silence, catching up to Kaden but remaining quiet and just off to his side as he headed home. She didn't want to disturb him just then, not when he was brooding like this. It was an entirely different side of him that she was not used to. She circled the keep as he went inside, coming to land near her garden. She was cautiosly nibbling leaves to ease the ache in her belly when she heard the crashing upstairs and took off, flyign for the tower. She landed lightly and shifted her forms, coming in through the window.) Kaden.. (She made a low sound in her throat, like a whelp sidling up to an angry adult, trying to gain any positive emotion from him. She wanted to be at his side, but his dark mood was raging and she didn't understand how to handle him.)
