Crank seals (clutch and mag side) are a reasonable thought but you should check the crank as a whole. When the bearings get bad, things move and wear. You could have bad outer seals or inner seals. Almost anyone can change outer bearings and seals but the inner bearings have to be done at a shop unless you have all the right equipment. There is no sense just doing the seals if crank play caused the problem. It will not take long to have the same problem. Grab the clutch backing plate and pull up and down. If you think you feel it move, you probably have an issue.
