1) not only your weight determines if you get your period. Yes, if you weigh way too little you wont have it anymore. But also your proteine intake, iron and vitamine B12 have influence on your period. So if your intake is less than 1200 that might be it.

2)your metabolism goes slower if you eat less and will go faster if you eat more, until a certain degree. For you, a healthy amount of calories would be somewhere between 2000 and 2500 a day depending on your bodily system.

An other reason why you are not losing anymore COULD be that your body went into starvation mode. Your body then simply refuses to lose.

If you want to increase eating: honey, I know how hard it is. Just give it a shot. For me it always works to eat little thinks throughout the day, I am simply not able to eat a lot at dinner.

In the morning I just stuff things in the blender: yoghurt fruit and grains. Because I can drink it it goes down easily, if you know what I mean.

Good luck, and yes: more calories in your case will increase your metabolism and will result in way more energy!
