A--
this was happening to me for a few days after i did the 2468 diet. i finished up the 800 cal. day and i felt like i had this uncontrollable hunger that wouldnt let up. so i ate mounds of chips, hummus, severeal bowls of cereal with soy milk one after the other, basically any carb that came my way. it was awful!!! its natural for our bodies to crave huge amounts of food after periods of extreme deprivation. on a smaller scale, this means that if you dont eat all day the chances are a lot bigger that you will have a binge at night. i also find that if i start the day with carbs (cereal, a waffle, things like that) i am more likely to crave them later in the day. so i developed this plan that i am trying to stay on for 7 days straight. the rules are basically this: eat as many fruits and veggies as i want, and have 1-2 servings of whole grains and 1 serving of protein per day. and thats all; absolutely no junk, candy, refined sugars. its pretty awesome b/c i feel full all day and ive lost 3 lb in 2 days so far. make fruits and vegetables your new best friends! hot tea is good at night when your stomach is groling too (try celestial seasonings Sleepytime tea). you have to make a plan like this and retrain your body to want "good" foods again. it helps bridge the gap from binge mode because you're eating little bits all throughout the day. like today i brought a bunch of raw carrots and green beans with me, and apples are always great. don't feel bad about messing up--everyone does it! and you will soon be back on track. lots of luck,

nicole
